Lord Shri Krishna also said in the Gita that Uttarayan means in the beautiful era of Uttarayan, when the Sun God is in Uttaran and the earth remains illuminated, by renouncing the body in this light, there is no reincarnation of the soul and it receives Brahma. When the sun turns southward, the earth becomes gloomy and the body has to be reincarnated if it is abandoned in the dark.

Makar Sankranti is India's agricultural festival. This day is also associated with crop harvesting in India and other Asian countries. Transferring the sun from one cell to another means it is called transition. According to this, there are twelve transitions in a year. But the sun moves from the zodiac sign to the conch shell. Uttarayan starts as the Sun moves slightly towards the Earth, changing its direction in the direction of its surroundings. Thus, due to the sun moving north, this day is known as Uttarayan. Uttarayan is considered as auspicious mughur, so Makar Sangrati is celebrated as the beginning of this auspicious time. These celebrations are made differently in different cultures.
Uttaran in India is celebrated as Makar Sakri. This festival is declared by the Government of India as a national festival.
Makar Sankranti is also a festival of reverence and respect for Saraswati, Goddess of knowledge. This ideal time is considered for those wishing to meet the goals of life.
The word uttarayan is made up of two Sanskrit words north (north) and peace of mind (side by side). Uttaran (Makkar Sankranti) is the day when the sun moves towards the Northern Hemisphere, and this summer is a sign of the beginning. People of all ages are happy in heart, dressed in beautiful dresses and climb on the tops of their home from early morning.
On this beautiful day, millions enjoy climbing on the roofs and the ovens, delighting and cheerful kite flying. All the days have been "cut off!" "The blacksmith!" The sky is colored with colorful kites like Indra. On this day, sesame seeds (made from sesame seeds and jaggery) and 'chiki' (a sweetener) eat and eat much.
